For the 2025 Never Give Up Gala in Calgary, NewPath Influence partnered with Woods Homes to produce a powerful 3-minute documentary video centered on the emotional story of a mother and her son navigating autism, mental health, and the life-changing support of community care.

The video was designed to open the evening program and lead directly into a live on-stage interview with Holly, the film’s subject. Told through Holly’s voice and filmed in a cinematic, documentary style, the piece invites viewers into a raw and authentic portrait of love, struggle, and resilience.

Over a day of production, our team captured:

• A sit-down interview with Holly at home
• Intimate b-roll with her and her son Max
• A return visit to Woods Homes’ Exceptional Needs Program, where Max once found healing and connection
• Custom visuals to reflect the uncertainty of his future as he approaches adulthood
