Home Game is a Giving Tuesday commercial produced by NewPath Influence for The Mustard Seed. Designed to play in hockey arenas across Western Canada, the film connects the excitement of a home game with the power of community giving in a simple and emotional story.

The commercial follows a father and son arriving at the rink for a morning hockey game. Outside the doors, they pass a man sitting alone in the cold wearing an old team jacket. The moment stays with the father as he finds his seat inside the arena. When he notices a Giving Tuesday poster on the wall, he takes out his phone and donates to The Mustard Seed. At the exact moment the donation goes through, his son scores and the crowd erupts in celebration. The story closes by returning to the man outside who hears the same cheering as a Mustard Seed volunteer offers him a hand up. It is a quiet and hopeful reminder that small acts of kindness can change someone’s day and future.

The Home Game project was filmed at Flames Community Arenas in Calgary with the YYC Jays hockey team and a full volunteer crowd. Shot with a cinematic approach and finished with professional color and sound, the commercial is built to run for several years across multiple platforms including arenas, broadcast, and online.
